Allison Farrow is a 17 year old senior at Bohemia Manor High School.
While in high school, Allison has been involved in cheerleading and for the past 3 years has been a flyer on the squad. She is also on the tennis team, a member of the National Honor Society and the French club. She is proud to be a graduate of the Barbizon Modeling and Acting School and Eagle University.
She plans to continue her education at a prestigious 4 year college and major in Elementary Education. She also plans to pursue her love of acting and modeling. She has had the opportunity to work with several acting and runway coaches from New York and enjoys participating in fashion shows. This past summer she spent a week in New York City auditioning at IMTA in front of hundreds of agents. Her pictures have appeared in Pageantry Magazine, Digital Camera Magazine and the Nor’easter. She was also in the TV show “Switched”.
One of her hobbies is traveling. This past summer she had the opportunity to
spend 15 days touring Europe. She visited Germany, Austria, Switzerland,
Czech Republic, and France. It was a great experience and she finally got to
see Paris and the Eiffel tower!
She feels that she has been very blessed with a loving and supportive family
and that it is important for her to give to others and her community. She has
participated in Relay for Life, Special Olympics, and on Thanksgiving she helps serve dinner to the homeless in her community. On her 16th birthday, she hosted a fundraiser for a local homeless shelter and raised over $100.00. She has also
been active with her local volunteer fire department, where she is an associate
member. She has spoken to people of all ages about fire prevention and emergency safety.
Her hobbies include not only traveling and volunteer work, but also modeling
and acting, playing piano, playing tennis, spending time with her friends and
keeping up with the latest fashions.
She is known for her positive attitude and effervescent personality and is extremely excited about having the opportunity to meet people all over the beautiful state of Maryland!
Who would have thought a small town girl from the eastern shore of Maryland could be Miss Maryland Teen USA 2007? Dreams really do come true!
